Complete demise of creative writing on Hubpage!

I haven't been in there for a while and I never read the emails so was surprised to see more changes - now we have something else that tells us we are featured and on google or something. = anyway...

I opened an account a long time ago, wrote a couple hubs then left. I think I will go get them as they were pretty good ....:) Thanks for the suggestion!

I too opened up an account, put some old school papers I had written up there, wrote a few new things, hated it, and left. My hubs are still over there though. I just need to get the motivation to go...

I don't think they actively punish creative writing. They do - like Squidoo - make content that doesn't get traffic invisible to search engines. Personally I use my hubs as a place to link to my stuff...

It's not worth it to me. HubPages just isn't making the cut in my book. But hopefully they are not actively punishing creative writing then. It's probably just not something people are searching much....

I go to the kindle store for my creative writing fix, too. Sorry, Flynn. I'm not a library person. As for *selling* creative writing, I could never publish my poems. I put one poem on Hubpages I wrote...

Yes, if you republish on Hubpages, the hubs may become featured, but they may slip into unfeatured again.

I just finished my second Hub after being there a year. When I first opened my Squidoo and Hubpages I tried both a HP crashed so frequently I gave up. Now that I've tried it again it seems very stable...
